During the month, US defense tech startup Anduril also made history by raising $1.5 billion at a $14 billion valuation, a major stamp of approval for VCs to enter a massive sector where Israeli startups have a clear competitive advantage. AI is revolutionizing the $200 billion global games industry, slashing multimillion-dollar budgets that have historically been required for game development and marketing. For example, China’s largest gaming group Tencent, is leveraging generative AI to swiftly create animations, realistic 3D backgrounds, and scenes. AI tools are also enhancing game testing, simulated gameplay and mission creation. This allows game writers to concentrate more on developing storylines, characters, and dialogue—tasks that AI cannot yet handle at a professional level.
