Barak has spent decades immersed in early-stage startups. Before the launch of F2, Barak was a Partner at Genesis Partners, where he focused on early-stage investment opportunities and The Junction pre-seed investment program.
As a founder, Barak has firsthand experience building companies from the ground up. He led three startups in London and Tel Aviv, including Mytopia, which was acquired by 888 Holdings (LSE: 888). He also supported numerous successful startups as an angel investor.
In his earlier career, Barak was a senior analyst in the Technology M&A Group at Morgan Stanley, where he helped to establish their investment banking practice in Israel. He also volunteered to serve as a paratrooper in the IDF. Barak earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS BA from Georgetown University.
